Hello and welcome to my personal website. I’m a freelance writer focused on entertainment, politics and the intersection of the two. My work has appeared in Vanity Fair, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Buzzfeed and other publications. I also co-host a weekly podcast called “This Week In Nope,” in which we shut down the most abominable news of the week, every week.

In the past, I was a staff writer at the Wall Street Journal where I covered the fashion and film industries. I then joined Twitter in 2014 as their head of film partnerships, where I remained for almost 3 years before embracing the writing and consulting life.

I live in Long Island City with my husband, Josh Wortman, and our five-year-old son.
